OpenVMS continues to offer a superior platform in terms of security and reliability that makes it a favored choice for banks, stock exchanges, utilities, lotteries, and the military. Its built-in security features have been evaluated by the U.S. Government as being NCSC Class C2 compliant and this makes it the perfect choice for sensitive web, mail, and application servers. Its volume management and superior clustering give it unmatched disaster survivability and recovery capability. Wherever critical systems have to be up, knowledgable users have chosen OpenVMS.
